Ordering FAQ


Ready to Ship (RTS)

Products listed for purchase (excluding custom) are made prior to being added to the shop's inventory. These products are ready-to-ship and ship within 7-14 days of ordering.

Made to Order (MTO)

Ordering custom fit or via personal shopping appointment?

Custom fit orders are always an option and are always made-to-order according to your specified fit needs. Every product listing offers the option to select custom fit instead of our standard options. 

Personal shopping appointments offer in person or virtual consultations with LJ, the designer and founder of Lottie J. She can walk you through finding your size with a fitting/guided fitting, give product styling advice, and answer any questions you have about custom fit or made-to-order products.

MTO Production time can take up to 6-8 weeks* 
Both ready-to-ship and made-to-order products (with the exemption of merch) are produced in-house and made by hand by a tiny team of just a few people. Customs require making a custom made sewing pattern in addition to the custom made garment. 

Expect to wait— In addition to your consideration for our hand made production process we ask that you please consider the possibility that sometimes factors outside of our control can cause delays. In the event that we do experience delays that affect order times we will be in touch with an adjusted estimate.

Local pickup?
Nope.

Shipping
Orders ship 7-14 days after production.

Payment
Credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal payments are accepted.

International Shipping
Shipping outside of the US and Canada are not an option at this time. We are working to change this in the near future!

Other Shipping concerns 
We cannot control postal delays and transit times.
Please be aware that the usual USPS tracking quirks apply. Tracking can indicate "delivered" a couple days before it actually shows up, etc.

Lottie J. is not responsible for items lost/stolen in post, or for incorrect address information given at the time of purchase.


Missing Order Info
Custom orders must have all fit information and measurements included before you check out.

If your order is missing necessary information—or included incorrect information—we cannot guarantee that your order will be made to fit your needs or made at all. Please reach out to us immediately if you think this is the case.

Orders with missing information that go without correction for 30+ days are subject to our no refund policy. See below.

                                                        

 

Returns and Refunds

No returns or exchanges can be accepted under any circumstances.
No refunds can be issued after purchase.
No cancellations can be accepted after purchase.
No exceptions.

We take pride in our products and fit is important. If you feel you followed our fit guide correctly and something isn't right, or if there is an issue with something you ordered, we want to know.

Custom fit guarantee:
If your custom order doesn't fit upon arrival we offer a remake guarantee.

Any issues with any item will be taken seriously, corrected promptly and accordingly.

*Lottie J. reserves the right to change estimate order processing and production times, and/or pause production at any time. Please remember that every item is handmade in house, by only a couple of humans.
